1 bag Cox’s Sweet Ginger Orange shrimp, with the included seasoning packet
3 tablespoons butter
1 tablespoon olive oil
4 cloves garlic, finely minced
1.5 tablespoons fresh ginger, grated
2 tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
Chopped green onions or cilantro for garnish
Directions
Thaw the Cox’s Sweet Ginger Orange shrimp as directed on the bag. Use the included seasoning packet to season the shrimp at the cooking step below, following the package directions; omit any separate dry seasoning blend and additional salt.
Pat the shrimp dry with paper towels and season lightly with salt and pepper.
Heat olive oil and 1 tablespoon of butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Add the shrimp in a single layer and sear for 2 minutes on each side until golden; remove and set aside on a plate.
Reduce the heat to medium and melt the remaining butter in the same skillet. Add the minced garlic and grated ginger, sautéing for 30-45 seconds until fragrant.
Stir in the soy sauce and lemon juice.
Return the cooked shrimp to the skillet and toss well in the warm garlic-ginger glaze for 1 minute. Garnish with green onions and serve.
